An At Play Atelier art class is a laboratory of creativity – a space filled with a variety of materials and tools to allow everyone the opportunity to explore their own creative practice and projects.
We believe that play is an important part of making art - allowing a freedom of experimentation.
We celebrate the apparent ‘mistakes’ in the creative process and see them as learning opportunities.
We encourage collaboration and creative dialogue as a way of learning from each other, but our classes are kept small in order to allow bespoke teaching.
We place an emphasis on the creative process and joy of making, rather than the end ‘product’.
At Play Atelier is run by two Artist Educators - Jemma Grundon, and Chi-Yien Snow. We are currently providing 1-1 art tuition in North Somerset and a secondary-age art class running in Bristol, specifically for home-education students.
